Samsung’s ARM7TDMI-based S3F401F 16/32-bit MCU
90 MHz clock frequency, 256 Kbyte integrated flash memory and a large
number of useful motor control peripherals:
Stutensee (Germany) - MSC Vertriebs GmbH expands its product portfolio
with Samsung’s S3F401F 16/32-bit microcontroller (MCU). The S3F401F MCU is
ideally suited for simple and cost-sensitive motor control applications.
In addition to 256 Kbyte flash memory and 20 Kbyte RAM, the ARM7TDMI core based MCU clocked at 90 MHz also offers designers a large number of special motor control peripheral functions including, for example, fifteen 12-bit A/D converters that enable a synchronous conversion of up to three values. Two each 16-bit encoders and 3-phase timers ensure a flexible and precise control of motors. Furthermore, the MCU is equipped with two each buffered UART and SPI interfaces.
The S3F401F is specified for an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and is provided in a 100-pin QFP. Data sheets and samples are available now from MSC.
