70000 Hours LED-Lifetime and Outstanding IPS-Pro-Technology

MSC Vertriebs GmbH enlarged his product spectrum with a new 8 inch WVGA IPS-Pro TFT of Hitachi.
A key feature of the new display is the tremendous lifetime. The datasheet specifies the lifetime of the LED backlight with typical 70000 hours to obtain half brightness.

If the application does not demand the full luminance of 600 cd/m2, the brightness can be dimmed. Dimming will increase the lifetime proportional and decrease the power consumption as well.

Due to its characteristics, the product is predestined for industrial environment. The operating temperature range is -40 up to 85 degrees Celsius. Further on, the display is equipped with a robust metal bezel.

The TFT convinces through excellent optical performance. The huge contrast of 600:1 is very stable all over an extreme wide angle of view, compared to conventional LCDs. No matter which direction is chosen, because of the innovative IPS-Pro technology.

The outline measures 190 x 120 x 12,8 mm and the active area is 174 x 104,4 mm.

At a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, the aspect ratio of the panel is 16:9.

Furthermore MSC Vertriebs GmbH offers accessory, like a convenient LED driver with wide input range from 2.9 to 16 Volts.
