YDS - Series 12D-3W – 3 Watt DC/DC-Converters in SIP7-Package

Full Output Power up to +85 °C

Thanks to reduced losses and thermally optimized internal design the new YDS 12D-3W series DC/DC converters, now available at MSC Vertriebs GmbH, provide an output power of 3 Watts in the popular space saving SIP7 package.

Available for input voltages of 5 and 12 V they generate an electrically isolated output voltage of 5, 9, 12 or 15 V. Other in- and output voltages are available according to customer specifications. An important feature is an input to output isolation of 3000 VDC.

Additional specifications include an efficiency up to 87%, low ripple and noise, 1 second short circuit protection, a MTBF rating of 3.5 million hours and a full power operating temperature range of -40 to +85 C°.

The 12D-3W series converters are perfect solutions for local generation of sensor excitation voltage, supply voltage for analog front ends in digital systems and interface circuits.

With standard pin-out the 12D-3W series can replace lower power SIP7 DC/DC converters in system upgrades without circuit board redesign.
